You killed thousands of people and destroyed Manhattan, Loki.

Thor didn’t get a rigged trial — he didn’t get a trial at all. He was immediately stripped of his power and immortality and dumped alone in a potentially hostile, and certainly very foreign environment.
Furthermore he didn’t know there was a potential loophole. When he tried and failed to lift Mjolnir he didn’t know that he would ever, ever have a chance to regain his former power. To Thor’s mind he had been permanently banished and sentenced to an early death on a backwater world, with no chance of redemption.
He returned to Asgard in three days because that’s how long it took him to learn that he’d been wrong, and demonstrate that he could put others before himself. If he hadn’t learned that lesson then he would have died as a mortal, in a fraction of his expected lifespan.
jfc this I am so sick of people acting like Thor wasn’t punished or treated cruelly by Odin when Thor was given a death sentence with no trial and kicked down to Midgard with no resources and absolutely no way to contact anyone he had ever known. He was MORE isolated than Loki was, with absolutely NO guidance from anyone, and it’s by sheer luck he found nice people who wanted to help him, and even them giving him a place to stay didn’t actually lead to him reclaiming his powers because he failed to lift Mjolnir the first time he tried. He could have just as easily ended up somewhere terrible. SHIELD could have gotten to him first, or he could have been sentenced to an insane asylum, sort of like how he was in the 1620 universe.
And people also forget that, even if we’re being generous and saying Thor’s 6 person incursion on Jotunheim against their traditional enemy who had sent a small force into Asgard that resulted in the death of Asgardians is somehow equal to Loki’s fully manned with an entire army behind him attempt to enslave an entire, non-combative realm, LOKI STILL ATTEMPTED AND WAS SUCCESSFUL AT FRATRICIDE. HE KILLED THOR. That right there should have been enough for a death sentence. But he wasn’t killed. He was spared and sentenced to life in prison.
This Kinsey scale test is too hard oh no
//No, Iwaldi has not died. However, this semester has been very stressful and finals are this week and next week. One more week, then freedom, then hopefully I can jump back into being Iwaldi.
I’m sorry the last few posts were from me saying there may be a hiatus, but hopefully the summer will be easier.
It may seem weird, but I have a hard time seeing the mun how they actually look. I always see them as the muse they’re portraying.
